Hummus is really easy to make and is great in sandwiches, as a side order with spicy rice dishes, or as a dip with carrot sticks. This recipe comes from the Vegan Family House website.
1 can (400g) of cooked chick peas, drained
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until fairly smooth. That's it!
Play with the ingredients to get the balance that you prefer. Olive oil gives an earthier flavour than vegetable oil.
