| Ingredients
2 oz vegan margarine
1 medium red cabbage (approx 2lb), sliced
2 cooking apples, peeled and sliced
¼ pint white wine vinegar
¼ pint water
1½ oz sugar
2 to 4 tbsp redcurrant jelly |

Method
Melt the margarine in a pan. Add the cabbage, apples, vinegar and water
and stir well. Cook gently for about 1½ hours (until very tender),
stirring occasionally.
Add the sugar and the redcurrant jelly to taste (the cabbage should taste
'sweet and sour'). That's it! Delicious. |
